Analyzing Global Conflict in the Cold War Era.

Goal
In an order to contextualize the conflicts that arose during the Cold War Era and place them in the global perspective, you and your group will use the library sources listed below to research and analyze an assigned topic.

Cold War Conflicts:

Each group will use the research collected and compile a wiki page that answers the following questions:
  1. Name of primary country(s) involved
  2. Name of secondary countries involved
  3. Formal names of combatants involved; Briefly explain the key organizations/groups
  4. Who were the key people - provide an image and brief information
  5. Location of the conflict.
  6. Did the conflict remain in the same location?If No where did it spread to?
  7. Dates of the conflict
  8. Was the conflict driven by territorial disputes? List them.
  9. Was the conflict driven by economic issues? Y/N List them
  10. Was the conflict driven by ethnic/religious tensions? Y/N List them
  11. Was the conflict a result of military aggression? Y/N Who attacked first
  12. Create your own chart of the number of casualties, deaths, & refugees by country/party
  13. Was the conflict resolved? Y/N If yes, How?
  14. Was the conflict settlement negotiated through a third party? Y/N If yes, Who? If no, Why not?
  15. What is the current situation?
  16. Brief summary of events
  17. Citation page for ALL sources used
